Writing is central to the way I develop ideas and projects. Between 2011 and 2016 I ran Disphotic, a blog about photography and visual culture and it’s intersections with diverse practices including journalism, art, history and technology. I have been published in The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Nation, World Press Photo Witness, 1000 Words Magazine, The British Journal of Photography, Photomonitor, BBC News, Timeout, Harvard Design Magazine, Vice, Hyperallergic, Reading the Pictures, Hotshoe, The Photographers Gallery Blog, Fotografia, Failed Architecture, China World Photo, B&W Photography Magazine, IdeasTap, Of The Afternoon, Tmrw Magazine, and Featureshoot.
